Lois Griffin
Written by Family Guy on April 26, 2009 – 8:10 pm -Lois Pewterschmidt Griffin is the wife of Peter Griffin in the animated series, Family Guy. She is also the mother of three children – Meg, Chris, and Stewie, and the owner of the family pet dog, Brian. Lois is voiced by Alex Borstein.
Lois comes from a very wealthy family of socialites, the Pewterschmidts, but fell in a love with Peter who was a towel boy at her family’s country club. It has been mentioned that before falling in love with Peter, she was involved with men who were members of eighties rock bands such as Gene Simmons of Kiss. Lois became a piano teacher, but also spends a lot of time taking care of her family. She has been shown to have quite a questionable set of morals such as being a kleptomaniac, an ex-convict, and a smoker of weed while she was pregnant specifically with Stewie, who is obsessed with killing her because she always gets in the way of his evil plans. Lois, on the other hand, is unaware of this. She has two siblings, Carol and Patrick. Carol has had nine husbands so far, while Patrick was in an asylum because of being a serial killer. In addition to her quirkiness and colorful past, Lois is also known to have a very strong sexual desire to the point of being a nymphomaniac. Her marriage to Peter has had their definite share of ups and downs with Lois eventually developing a brain tumor because of continuously having negative thoughts because she has married quite a retarded man. In spite of this, their love for each other is still very strong.
